father's day quote

This magazine is an awesome inspiration to me!  Love this desk!  I want to make it!  This is what it says....

Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

oil spill or sitting by the green algae pool?

It was a hard decision to cancel the family vacation.....So Dad said, we'll open the pool!  Which is Yuckier?  It's a toss up.  I'm sad about our favorite beach.  How many people have had to cancel?  Will it ever be the same?

New version by my girly

She changed it up in the midst of creation......who knew you could make sugar roll out cookies from this recipe.  No chill ....noth'in. Just dust with flour and roll'em out!

My Girly's favorite cake mix cookies

Grandma use to make these and I love to make them with my eight yr old.  Fast easy and lots of flavors in one batch.  The dough is the best part.  She likes to roll them in sprinkles!

CAKE MIX COOKIES

1 package of cake mix (any flavor)
1 large egg
1/4 cup of oil
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of chopped nuts, raisins, oatmeal, coconut, chocolate chips, M&M'S® etc. (anything you like in cookies)

Preheat oven to 350°F.Combine cake mix, egg, oil, and water. Beat until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredient (s).
Drop by teaspoon about 1 inch apart onto greased cooke sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until done.
Makes about 4 dozen. Yummy!

My trip to Little Rock, Ark

angelcourt

This is all the cool stuff our friend Eric has made re-done etc.  The thrill was riding in his 1946 cris-craft.
My favorite photographer, designer: Courtney Wedgeworth Taylor took these photos on her I-Phone!
Since this crazy photographer didn't get her baby (my camera) in the car!  It's nice to have great friends!
